Food for Thought

My old office used to be a block away from here but I had never noticed it before. They carved out a narrow space in the service entrance area of an office building to serve Dominican food. They are open only for lunch and close when they run out of food—very cost-efficient operation. That’s probably how they keep their prices low. I love how they creatively solved the problem of serving Latin American workers in the area the best possible lunch as cheaply and quickly as possible. They only serve 5 items. If you are too slow to decide, they won’t be so happy; they have a line of hungry workers on short breaks
