This baguette takes the cake. As you can see (swipe) the bubble formation is impressive. Even though the outside is super crunchy, the whole thing feels soft because of its lightness. Most baguettes are not suitable for sandwiches because having two layers of hard crust makes it impossible for normal human beings to bite through it all, but you could with this one by Arcade Bakery. But I would rather eat it just with butter. The bread itself has great flavor.
I’m happy that Arcade is relatively close to me (30-minute walk). I’ll be commuting there often.
