Bushwick Leaders High School for Academic Excellence

Bushwick Leaders High School for Academic Excellence is a collaboration between East Brooklyn Congregations, the Department of Education, and community educators and leaders. It provides a quality education to students in the Bushwick community by building relationships among parents, teachers, and students in a nurturing environment where students learn by doing. Students explore career opportunities through community service, college trips, a corporate mentoring program, and an integrated arts program. With a focus on a challenging academic curriculum, all students are prepared for work and college. As a result of our programming, students receive maximum instructional time as well as the opportunity for extra help in all subject areas.
