| Overview Paragraph | We follow the Expeditionary Learning model, in which students engage in learning expeditions and have multiple opportunities for hands-on learning. Students participate in fieldwork experiences with civic leaders, industry figures, and environmental scientists who take them outside of the classroom and give them a chance to experience the concepts they are learning. Students receive a strong background in science, technology, and sustainability and have many opportunities to apply the ideas learned in class to real-world after school projects. |
