Overview Paragraph

We are a college preparatory high school. Course offerings and high standards enable students to succeed after graduation at the nationÂ’s most selective colleges. Our teachers provide each student with personalized attention and guidance. We provide four years of science and math with extensive liberal arts. Every freshman will take a year long writing intensive small class-size English course to prepare them for college. Most students take Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Many of our students take college courses though Columbia University DDC and CUNY College Now program. Our students participate in scientific research with university mentors, some resulting in publication. A new SAT/ACT initiative helps studentsÂ’ competitive standings.
