Overview Paragraph | Essex Street Academy (ESA) prepares all students for success in college and careers by treating them as individuals with specific strengths and needs and appealing to their intellectual curiosity. We offer elective courses that challenge students to develop their own ideas and push them to learn by doing. Students design and conduct experiments, develop historical theses, analyze works of literature, and develop solutions and proofs for mathematical problems. Small class size makes a personalized approach to education possible, enabling teachers to develop an individual relationship with each student. At ESA, our students are active learners and graduate from our school confident in their ability to tackle any problem they encounter. |
