Isolation vs. Loneliness

“Isolation” is where you are missing the act of communicating. It’s the activity (communication) that you are missing. If you lied down on a bed for a few days alone, you would enjoy taking a walk outside. It’s like that. Isolation is a basic and natural human pain. Loneliness, on the other hand, is feeling like nobody understands or cares about you. We all feel this but it’s not a given that we have to feel it. It’s an egotistical pain we can do without.
