For me, the content of what a child is saying isn’t important but how sincere and authentic they are. I would respect a 12-year old delivering a speech about how great Disney TV shows are as long as his thoughts are undeniably unique to him and is sincere. The point isn’t to say the right things (whatever happens to be “right” or “correct” for the adults around him) but learn to think for himself.
