I lived on East 2nd Street from 1991 to 2011. Punjabi Deli opened in 1994 a few blocks from me, mainly to serve cab drivers. I always take their food to go and heat it at home. I feel it deserves to be plated properly. Because their prices are low, you might not expect it to be good but it rivals high-end Indian restaurants. #indianfood #nyceats
