Food for Thought

Most “food porn” photos belong to Playboy or Penthouse. The food from this restaurant belong to those shrink-wrapped hardcore porn magazines on the top shelf.

The chefs in Hong Kong seem to have successfully incorporated the British lack of taste into their own cuisine. There are some truly shameless combinations of Western and Eastern ingredients and cooking techniques here. It’s a lot of fun. I’m cognitively repulsed by the ideas of deep-frying a French toast and pouring tomato sauce and cheese over rice, but they are sinfully good. I fully enjoyed my feelings of guilt. I’m not even sure how I’m supposed to pay for this sin later. #hongkongfood #nycfoodie
